MODEL and MOLD the minds of FUTURE generations
The future of Fort Worth belongs to the children learning in our schools. Education is one of the most important factors in someone's future and an area that most people are able to engage. Whether it is mentoring students, serving as after-school tutors or working on projects that help better individual schools, so much can be done to better the lives of young people and the education system as a whole. In partnership with local schools and organizations, FGFW will work to engage the local education system to help young people secure the best future for themselves.
Student/Staff Assistance
Morningside Elementary
Just south of one of the 10 worst neighborhoods in the nation, Morningside Elementary is part of a turn-around program called RISE. You have the opportunity to come alongside some of the lowest-income students in Fort Worth, to mentor, tutor, and prepare them well, and/or to provide administrative and other support to teachers and staff who've dedicated themselves to helping revitalize these students and their families. ForTheGoodOfFortWorth will equip you to serve in a role that fits you well, and will pair you with a Morningside student/staff need: varying times/days/time commitments.
